"The sound is fat and the grooves are heavy , the result is inspired , an album to warm your heart and shake your tailfeather" *****Stars - Phil Ascott Rhythm Magazine
Mad, raw garage-funk with hints of the James Taylor Quartet. Good fun. Doesn't take itself too seriously and is keen that we all have a raucous time. - Thomas H Mixmag
"When you have a set of musicians with this pedigree then you know that something serious will follow. And it does" - Pete Isaac Jelly Jazz / Phonic FM
Return of the Iron Monkey" is a record that unashamedly grooves, it pays tribute to the sound of the mighty Hammond and the great rhythm sections that inspired the band, a hint of the Meters, a slice of the MGs, and a whole lotta soul... - Modculture.co.uk
